Project Overview

HireScale is partnering with a high-growth organization to elevate how brand, product, and marketing experiences are designed and delivered across multiple customer-facing channels. This is a fractional Design Consultant engagement focused on creating cohesive, high-impact design systems that unify marketing, UX, and product storytelling across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C environments.

This role is for a versatile, hands-on designer who operates across visual design, UX, marketing creative, and light front-end implementation. You will help shape how the organization shows up across web, product, campaigns, and customer touchpoints—ensuring consistency, clarity, and conversion-driven design execution.

The work spans both brand expression and functional product design, requiring someone who can move fluidly between high-level creative direction and detailed UI/UX execution. You will be expected to design systems that not only look strong but also perform—driving engagement, usability, and business outcomes.

This is not a siloed design role. You will collaborate directly with marketing, product, and engineering teams to translate business goals into compelling visual and interactive experiences. A strong emphasis is placed on speed, adaptability, and execution quality, particularly in fast-moving SaaS and digital-first environments.

You will also contribute to lightweight front-end implementation where needed, helping bridge the gap between design and production through practical skills in modern web technologies.

The ideal consultant brings equal fluency across B2B SaaS, B2C consumer experiences, and B2B2C hybrid platforms, with the ability to adapt design thinking to different audience behaviors and business models.

The goal is to create a unified, scalable design foundation that strengthens brand perception, improves user experience, and drives measurable engagement across all channels.

Scope of Work & Core Capabilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences across web, product, and marketing channels
• Create and evolve visual identity systems, design components, and brand assets
• Translate business objectives into clear, intuitive, and high-performing UX/UI solutions
• Design marketing creative assets including landing pages, campaigns, and digital content
• Develop responsive UI designs aligned with modern SaaS and digital product standards
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless design implementation
• Contribute light front-end development support using HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks where needed
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable component libraries
• Ensure consistency across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C customer experiences
• Optimize designs based on user behavior, performance data, and conversion insights
• Apply UX best practices to improve usability, accessibility, and engagement
• Support rapid iteration cycles in fast-paced, agile environments
• Partner with marketing teams to ensure brand alignment across all customer touchpoints
• Maintain strong documentation of design systems, components, and guidelines

Engagement Brief

This fractional engagement is focused on delivering cohesive, high-impact design systems that unify brand, product, and marketing experiences across multiple audience types. Success is defined by improved user engagement, stronger brand consistency, and higher-performing digital experiences across channels.

• Target Outcomes: A unified design system and high-quality visual/UX execution across marketing, product, and web experiences. Deliver improved user engagement, stronger conversion performance, and consistent brand expression across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C environments. Ensure scalable design foundations that support long-term product and marketing growth.
• Duration: Fractional engagement (ongoing, project-based support)

Portfolio Requirements:

• 3–5 relevant design projects across B2B, B2C, and/or B2B2C environments
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership (problem → design strategy → execution → measurable impact)
• Strong portfolio showing both UX/UI and marketing/visual design work
• Evidence of work in SaaS, digital products, or consumer-facing platforms
• Experience contributing to or building design systems or component libraries
• Light front-end implementation experience (HTML/CSS or equivalent) preferred
• Supporting materials such as case studies, Figma files, live websites, or design documentation
