We’re Hiring: Uniform Retail Associate
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Southeast Houston

Bring your customer service skills to the front line—support those who serve every day.

Openwork is proud to partner with a trusted public safety supplier to hire a Uniform Retail Associate in Southeast Houston. In this important role, you’ll ensure our community’s first responders—police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and more—are equipped with uniforms and gear that fit perfectly and perform reliably.

If you've worked in retail environments like Jos. A. Bank, Men’s Wearhouse, or SuitMart—and you take pride in delivering excellent, personalized service—we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with selecting uniforms, sizing, and product recommendations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor
  • Receive, unpack, and tag new inventory
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate restock needs
  • Process returns and special orders when necessary
  • Stay informed on uniform specifications, sizing standards, and product updates
  • Work collaboratively with store staff to ensure a high level of customer service
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or customer service
  • Preferred background in retail environments such as Jos. A. Bank, Men’s Wearhouse, or SuitMart
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to learn product information and assist with fittings
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed
  • Familiarity with public safety or tactical gear is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED required
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with one weekday off)
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Sunday: Off
Pay & Benefits:
  • $17.00/hour, paid weekly
