The Uniform Coordinator is responsible for the daily management, organization, and distribution of employee uniforms while maintaining cleanliness and order in designated staff areas. This role ensures uniforms are properly laundered, inventoried, assigned, and tracked, and supports employee readiness by coordinating bedding kits for incoming international staff. The Uniform Coordinator also helps maintain a clean, organized, and compliant breakroom and restroom environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Uniform Management
  • Launder, dry, fold, and organize employee uniforms according to established standards
  • Maintain accurate uniform inventory, including tracking quantities, sizes, and condition
  • Assign uniforms to employees and ensure proper fit and availability
  • Ensure all uniforms are signed out and returned using the uniform sign-out sheet
  • Monitor uniform usage and report missing, damaged, or worn items
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of the uniform room at all times

Facility & Breakroom Support
  • Clean and maintain staff breakrooms throughout the day, including tables, counters, microwaves, and common surfaces
  • Clean and restock staff bathrooms as needed to ensure hygiene and compliance
  • Monitor the breakroom refrigerator and food storage areas
  • Ensure all food items are properly labeled and disposed of according to policy
  • Remove expired or unlabeled food items in accordance with company guidelines

International Staff & Housing Support
  • Create and prepare bedding bags for incoming international students and seasonal staff
  • Assist with transporting bedding bags to employee housing when needed
  • Coordinate with HR or Housing teams to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation

General Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and HR regarding uniform or facility needs
  • Assist with other duties as assigned to support daily operations
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning supplies or housekeeping experience (preferred)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [25-40] lbs regularly
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as folding, organizing, and cleaning
  • Comfortable working in laundry, storage, and shared staff spaces
Work Environment
  • Indoor work environment including laundry rooms, breakrooms, bathrooms, and storage areas
  • May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment
