Job description

Position Overview:
The Uniform Attendant is responsible for assisting with the uniform management system for all resort staff members. This includes ensuring that all employees receive, maintain, and return their uniforms in accordance with the resort’s high standards of presentation. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to liaise with various departments to ensure uniforms are properly supplied, clean, and in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the distribution of uniforms to new and existing staff members, ensuring proper fit, size, and style according to department needs.
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of all uniforms, ensuring stock levels are sufficient and that uniforms are reordered as necessary.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of uniforms, organizing any necessary alterations, replacements, or repairs.
  • Provide clear instructions to employees on uniform policies, including guidelines for wear and care.
  • Assist employees with fitting, size exchanges, and special uniform requests.
  • Work with the management team to address any issues regarding uniform appearance or quality.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Always maintains a clean and organized uniform room.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to our employees to make for an enjoyable experience.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or luxury resort industry.
  • 2+ Years of sewing experience preferred and able to alter and repair uniforms as needed.
  • A background in customer service in the hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized, take direction and work independently.
Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
