What You'll Do

As an Underwriting Team Lead, you'll provide day-to-day guidance and support to the underwriting team while ensuring quality, efficiency, and exceptional service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review work for accuracy and ensure underwriting guidelines are consistently followed
  • Monitor workflows and help prioritize daily assignments to meet service levels
  • Collaborate with management to improve processes and increase operational efficiency
  • Communicate professionally with agents, internal departments, and leadership
  • Perform quality control reviews and resolve underwriting issues
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track production, analyze data, and prepare reports
  • Maintain accurate records while demonstrating exceptional attention to detail
Requirements:
  • Previous insurance underwriting experience preferred
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High degree of professionalism, dependability, and accountability
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
