Job description

We are hiring full-time Experienced Refrigeration Technician! This position requires an individual who is a self-starter and can perform his daily duties with little supervision.

Requirements and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience, Servicing, repairing, and/or installing Commercial HVAC-R equipment:

Servicing the following equipment:

  • Walk-In Coolers, Walk-In Freezers, Refrigeration Pre-Tables, Under Counter Refrigerators and Freezers, Commercial Roof Top Units

Manufactures

  • Master-bilt, Hussmann, Trenton, Kairak / Traulsen, Silver King, Randell, True, Scottsman, Manitowoc, Lennox, Carrier, Trane, Goodman, etc.

Experience working with the following Refrigerants:

  • R410A, R22, R404, R448, R449, R134, R290, R407C

Servicing and repairing:

  • Compressors, Coils, Motors, and Electrical Diagnostic

Tools

  • Must have personal hand tools available. Examples are refrigerant gauges, Drill, Volt Meter, Temperature probes, and Hand tools. The company will provide for techs to use: Recovery Machine, Vacuum Pump, Scale, Torch Kit, Regulators.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to pass regular drug testing; be open to background checks; and a clean driving record
  • Must have the ability to be "On-Call" and available after hours for repairs
  • Must be able to climb and balance on ladders, stand/ or sit for long periods at a time, must not have fear of heights, among others

Licenses & Certifications

  • 608 Universal EPA Card required
  • Valid Florida Driver's License is required
