This is an opportunity for an experienced UH-60 Helicopter Mechanic or former Army 15T UH-60 Helicopter Repairer to apply their military aviation maintenance experience in a mission-focused environment.

POSITION / OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

  • The UH-60 Helicopter Mechanic performs structural, mechanical, electrical, and avionics installations and modifications on UH-60 helicopters.
  • This position ensures all work complies with applicable DoD standards, technical specifications, engineering documentation, and authorized maintenance procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous Army 15T experience, hands-on UH-60 maintenance experience, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform structural modifications, component installations, and system upgrades on UH-60 helicopters.
  • Complete assigned work in accordance with engineering drawings, technical manuals, technical orders, and authorized maintenance procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems during installation and modification activities.
  • Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to verify aircraft functionality and compliance.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, inspectors, and technicians to meet project schedules and quality requirements.
  • Document maintenance activities, parts usage, inspections, and test results.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow applicable safety, FOD-prevention, tool-control, and hazardous-material procedures.
  • Remain current on relevant aircraft modifications, technical procedures, and industry requirements.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Minimum of three years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Previous UH-60 or closely related H-60 variant experience required.
  • Army 15T UH-60 Helicopter Repairer experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience performing helicopter installations and modifications.
  • Familiarity with DoD maintenance standards, military maintenance documentation, and applicable technical orders.
  • Strong working knowledge of rotary-wing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized aviation maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment 10-panel non-DOT drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work near active flight lines and in facilities that may not be climate-controlled.
  • Must have sufficient vision, with corrective lenses if necessary, and sufficient hearing, with assistance if required, to perform assigned duties safely.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, crouch, and work in or around aircraft as required.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to handle and manage hazardous materials and waste in accordance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Must wear and maintain required personal protective equipment, including eye, face, head, hearing, respiratory, and extremity protection.
