Job description

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance - Pay $35-43/hr depending on experience Responsibilities:
Lead the assembly and construction of complex electronic, mechanical, and optical systems.
Perform and oversee advanced troubleshooting and repairs on equipment.
Conduct precise calibration and testing of devices.
Analyze and interpret test results, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
Collaborate with engineers on research and development projects.
Develop and implement safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Skills:     
Qualifications You Must Have: 3+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
Ability to work with standard laboratory test equipment, other measurement equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining complex systems. Qualifications We Prefer: Previous experience and/or certifications within the aerospace and defense industry.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with AutoCAD or other 3-D CAD software.
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
Extensive experience with research and development projects.
Proven leadership experience in a technical environment.
Experience with aircraft test instrumentation, including strain gauges and accelerometers
Basic understanding of communication protocols such as 1553, ARINC 429. CAN Bus, and Ethernet Essential Functions: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
Ability to be on your feet for much of the work shift.
Dexterity to handle and assemble small components.
Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions and loud environments.
Ability to travel as required. Education:  
Associate's degree in a related field of study. Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of related experience is required. Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
