Job description

Heli-1 Corporation is seeking experienced candidates for UH-60 Fire fighting PIC positions. In support of fire suppression for the 2026 fire season. Seasonal or Full time positions available

Job Requirements
  • Experience with UH-60, 100 hours Minimum
  • Type rating S-70/UH-60
  • Long Experience Required - 100 hours
  • Tank Experience
  • OAS/USFS carding experience requirements per interagency PTS and upcoming contracts (may be subject to change), currently including:
  • 200 hours helicopter PIC of operations in mountainous areas
  • 100 hours of helicopter PIC in the preceding 12 months (or close)
  • 50 hours helicopter PIC in weight class (+/-12,500 lbs)
  • 25 hours PIC in make/model (or close + initial training)
  • 10 hours PIC in make/model in 12 months (or close + initial training)
  • FAA 2nd or 1st Class Medical certificate
  • Ability and willingness to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Ability to legally live and work in the United States
  • Approval for insurability by our insurance carrier (incident/accident history, experience, etc.)
  • Must be willing to work internationally
Experience Preferred
  • 2000 hours helicopter PIC
  • Currently or previously carded UH-60
  • Interagency aerial fire suppression experience
  • Precision utility helicopter experience and longline proficiency
