The Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at UCSB invites applications for our lecturer pool, focusing on Biochemistry, Molecular Genetics, Cell Biology, and Developmental Biology. We aim to enrich our academic community with diverse perspectives and innovative teaching methods, reflecting our commitment to high-quality education and inclusivity. This opportunity is ideal for educators enthusiastic about employing modern pedagogies to meet the varied needs of our diverse student population, thereby enhancing learning experiences and academic excellence.
At a minimum, applicants must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. (or equivalent) except the dissertation (or equivalent) in Molecular or Cellular Sciences, or related field by the time of application. Applicants must have a PhD degree or equivalent in Molecular or Cellular Sciences, or related field by the time of appointment. Teaching experience at the college level in a related field is preferred.
