Paralegal PositionThe legal department for a data and tech driven SMB revenue-based financing company, based out of Cedarhurst, is seeking a Paralegal to join their team! As part of the Legal Department, the Paralegal will play a key role in supporting legal operations, drafting and reviewing agreements, ensuring compliance, and assisting with the management of MCA-related legal matters.Responsibilities:Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to Merchant Cash Advance transactions.Assist in due diligence, lien searches, and UCC filings.Maintain and organize legal files, correspondence, and records.Support attorneys in preparation for litigation or settlement negotiations.Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.Liaise with external counsel and internal departments as needed.Conduct legal research and provide summaries and recommendations.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Prior experience as a Paralegal in a legal department or law firm, preferably with exposure to MCA or commercial finance.Strong knowledge of Merchant Cash Advance agreements and legal processes.Familiarity with UCC filings, liens, and collections is a plus.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
