WCS is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a reputable Home Health organization in the Lower Manhattan-NYC Region performing Uniform Assessment System (UAS) assessments for a leading Medicaid assessment organization.This role involves conducting in-home field assessments with a hybrid schedule, offering three days on-site and two days remote each week. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work with one of New York's most respected organizations while maintaining work-life balance.

Job Function:
  • Day Shift.
  • Flexible hours - Monday through Friday 9am-5pm
  • Conduct preliminary in-home evaluations for consumers.
  • R eview assessments to determine if the correct conclusion for eligibility of services was reached by the nurse assessor.
  • Collect data related to assessments and assessment outcomes.
  • Examine each case for completeness, accuracy and consistency.
  • Analyze UAS recommended scores in relation to nurse assessor determinations.
  • Conduct scheduled home visits with the nurse assessor.
  • Examines data for outliers and researches such cases.
  • Develop/complete reports that track and trend activities/outcomes.

  • Required Education NYS RN Licensure.
  • 2 years of RN homecare experience required.
  • Must be able to travel to Manhattan.
