As a newcomer to a UAB team with no experience, you can expect to start with foundational tasks such as gathering and organizing patient data, assisting with documentation, and supporting team meetings. You'll often work closely with more experienced professionals, learning about utilization review processes, compliance standards, and healthcare regulations. Over time, you'll gain exposure to case discussions and may gradually take on more complex duties as your understanding of the role deepens.
