Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
This role is for a highly dynamic and motivated individual that will support the Mechanisms and Mixed Model Assembly production and engineering teams

We are looking for an individual who works well with engineering teams under minimal oversight to take ground support equipment from concept to production. This will be a production oriented position so expect the work to be fast paced and exciting.
Key job responsibilities
- Work closely with the Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering team to troubleshoot issues, keep the line running, improve process, and drive quality initiatives
- Mechanical and electrical assembly of various spacecraft ground support equipment
- Build and execute various development tests
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation for all test racks in Mechanisms
- Document procedures to ensure consistent quality checks and equipment operation

permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

This team is organized within the Mechanisms, Mixed Model Assembly, and Space Simulation Lab team to accelerate the design iteration process and ensure on-time delivery of the most stable and successful product possible. The tasks and daily focus change rapidly, and you will often take on new and exciting responsibilities as required to ensure project success
