Key job responsibilities
- Define the data elements to enable analytical and reporting capabilities, and work cross-functionally with other business intelligence teams
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of the data models that support ongoing metrics, reports, and analyses used to drive key business decisions
- Use expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
- Use business intelligence and visualization software (e.g., Quicksight.) to develop dashboards that are used by senior leadership, Operations and other health teams
- Drive data democratization throughout the organization, enabling others to self-serve their data needs
- Develop deep understanding of vast data sources and know exactly how, when, and which data to use to solve particular business problems
- Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow
- Work with Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, Marketing teams and other stakeholders on need basis to support their new analytics requirements
- Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically, prioritizing when necessary
- Partner/collaborate across teams/roles to deliver results
A day in the life
The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will help build analytics in an ambiguous space and help the organization implement secure reporting infrastructure that safely handles personal health information (PHI)

You will partner cross-organizationally with all health teams in AHS (One Medical, Amazon Pharmacy, Amazon Clinic) to develop a traffic and marketing data mart that will provide aggregated organizational reporting for all of AHS businesses. You must be comfortable working at both the strategic level (using customer insights and data to generate innovative ideas) and at the tactical level (building dashboards and monthly reports to measure business health). You must also possess strong project management and influencing skills, and will work cross-functionally with other teams to achieve success.
