Job description

THE ROLE
We have an exciting new opportunity to be a part of our Last Mile team. The on call Line Haul Driver will report to the Operations Manager and will play an essential role in delivering product from the Hanover Fulfillment Center to the Last Mile Cross Dock facility.
Job Details - Shift: Weekends Only with possibilities of picking up more shifts.
Pay: $26 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Transport customer orders/boxes along a predetermined route or schedule then return to the Hanover Fulfillment Center
  • Work primarily in one region or area
  • Document all deliveries and pickups
  • Follow all relevant safety regulations
  • Maintain a clear and direct line of communication with the Operations Manager
  • Review and report any vehicle repair, maintenance issues, or customer escalations
  • Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment
  • Assist with loading and unloading of company-supplied trucks as needed
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with our members in a positive way
  • Administrative work as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-2 years of previous delivery experience required
  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • Must have CDL Class A
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record in the state of employment
  • Able to lift 50lbs, walk up and down stairs throughout your shift
  • Able to operate and navigate a delivery box truck
  • Able to operate a hand-held device including having knowledge of route management software
  • Safely operate pallet jack on a frequent basis
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam
