Job description

Job Details:
This position serves as the primary support contact for poultry producers, providing technical guidance to ensure bird health, welfare, and optimal flock performance. Responsibilities include advising growers on housing, equipment, litter management, sanitation, flock management, feed and lighting programs, bird health monitoring, and production performance. The role also coordinates bird placements, sample collection, catch schedules, and communication between growers and company operations teams such as hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews, and live-haul. Additionally, the position ensures compliance with production contracts, USDA regulations, and company standards while helping producers achieve high-quality results at the lowest possible cost.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally (1 to 5 trips per year)
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, approximately 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Ideal Background: Candidates with experience in poultry production, animal agriculture, farm operations, flock management, agricultural services, or grower relations would be well suited for this opportunity. Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and relationship-building skills are important, as the role requires frequent interaction with contract producers and internal operations teams.
