We are looking for a hands-on, motivated Maintenance & Facilities Technician to help maintain and improve our production equipment, facilities, and wastewater systems. Job Description
As a Maintenance & Facilities Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our production equipment and facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Your work directly supports product quality, operational success, and environmental compliance.
What You'll Do
Equipment Installation, Repair & Maintenance
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment
  • Work with electrical systems, PLC-controlled machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, and gearboxes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and production fixture design
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
  • Support plumbing, welding, carpentry, HVAC, hydraulic, and general facility repairs
  • Maintain maintenance records, inspections, and preventative maintenance documentation
Wastewater & Environmental Systems
  • Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems to ensure full environmental compliance
  • Monitor pumps, clarifiers, filter presses, gauges, meters, and chemical systems
  • Perform water and chemical testing, tank analysis, and system adjustments
  • Respond quickly to equipment failures, spills, or operational issues
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and operational data
  • Help improve system efficiency and environmental performance
Daily Responsibilities
  • Maintain safe work practices and PPE compliance
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of assigned work areas
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership and teammates to support operational excellence

Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of PLC-controlled production equipment
  • Basic electrical knowledge and ability to read electrical diagrams
  • Ability to safely work with 208V / 460V systems
  • Basic plumbing and welding knowledge
  • Ability to identify operational issues and implement effective repairs
  • Understanding of water treatment systems and wastewater processes preferred
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, meters, measuring devices, forklifts, and maintenance equipment
  • Basic computer and documentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Physical Requirements
This position requires:
  • Frequent movement throughout a manufacturing facility
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift and move 25-60 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to work in active industrial environments
  • Close-range vision and color recognition abilities
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment, wastewater systems, or environmental compliance is highly valued
