Start your career where your mechanical engineering degree translates into real-world impact. We’re hiring new graduate Mechanical Engineers for full-time roles in Madison, PA—just southeast of Pittsburgh near New Stanton—to support the lifecycle of nuclear power plants around the world.

Your mission

Help design, construct, operate, and decommission nuclear facilities safely and efficiently. Grow into a trusted technical partner for customers across the U.S. and international markets, and contribute to solutions that keep plants running reliably.

Role highlights
  • Apply mechanical engineering principles to nuclear plant design, construction, operations, and decommissioning.
  • Join cross-functional teams to tackle critical, time-bound issues affecting plant performance.
  • Expand your expertise to serve U.S. and global nuclear programs and standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with Westinghouse customers.
Qualifications
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering required; applications from other engineering disciplines cannot be considered for these openings.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Compensation

Base salary range of $58,400 to $73,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and skills. Westinghouse is committed to equitable, transparent pay practices.
