Job Details:

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for learning all aspects of Tyson Foods' Private Fleet Transportation Group, including dispatch operations, driver management, safety, compliance, and asset utilization.

Key responsibilities include supporting day-to-day transportation operations and partnering with departments such as Maintenance, Driver Training, Safety, Human Resources, and Planning to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating with Customer Service, Tyson production and distribution facilities, drivers, and external customers to ensure effective communication, optimize transportation performance, and meet service expectations.

This role is designed to develop future leaders within Tyson Foods' Private Fleet through hands-on experience across transportation operations.

The position may require working various shifts during the training period to gain exposure to different areas of the operation, including nights and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Knowledge as such is normally acquired through completion a two or four year degree program.
  • Experience: Not required but preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
  • Communication Skills: Must have good communication skills bilingual skills preferred.
  • Travel: 3-6 trips during program
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None
  • Special Skills: Ability to work well with others
  • Shift :Must be Flexible to work days/nights / weekends.
