Starting Pay: $18.35/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium

We are currently seeking a skilled Loadout Operator to join our team at the rendering plant.

Job Description: The Loadout Operator at Tyson RVI-Harmony rendering plant is responsible for coordinating the loading and shipping of finished products, including fats, proteins, and meals, to customers and distribution centers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Loadout Operator will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely shipments while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the loading and shipment of finished products, including coordinating truck schedules, preparing shipping documents, and verifying product quantities and specifications. Operate loading equipment, such as conveyors, forklifts, and loading docks, to load finished products onto trucks or trailers safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products for quality, completeness, and compliance with customer specifications before loading, taking corrective actions as needed. Communicate with truck drivers, carriers, and logistics personnel to ensure timely arrivals, proper loading procedures, and accurate documentation. Record shipping information, product quantities, and shipping documents accurately and comprehensively in logbooks and computerized systems. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on loading equipment and facilities to ensure reliability and safety. Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock rotation, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation, to ensure accurate inventory records. Collaborate with production, logistics, and customer service teams to address shipping-related issues, resolve discrepancies, and meet customer requirements. Continuously monitor and evaluate loadout operations for opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry, record-keeping, and use of shipping software or systems. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures applicable to loading operations and warehouse environments. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed to support production schedules and operational needs. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and operate loading equipment safely. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.
