Job Details:

We create quality products in a safe environment for our team members. We offer competitive pay and great benefits. This facility operates six days a week and produces sausage crumbles and dry sausage.

This position has a starting base rate pay of $21.05 per hour with an additional $1.10 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift position placement.

We currently have various positions open that applicants may be considered for. Position schedules vary by available positions and some schedules may include a 7-day rotation.

In this position you will:

  • Be responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensure proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed and notify supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
  • Learn new EIM System and use hand held scanners, as well as any other duties assigned.
  • Wear the appropriate (PPE) personal protective equipment which includes steel toed shoes, bump cap and hearing protection.(Team members are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their workstation).

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. necessary when dumping bags of spice.
  • Must be willing and able to push/pull of 80 lb. film in cart to machine.
  • The Team Member will use torso flexion of 0-45 degrees is noted while handling spice.
  • The Team Member will use full bilateral extension of arms necessary.
  • The Team Member will use bilateral full hand grasp when performing checks for code dates.
  • The Team Member will stand at all times in all workstations.
  • The Team Member will use of both hands simultaneously when performing this job.
  • The Team Member will work in areas that could range between 38 and 50 degrees temperatures and at times conditions could be wet.

You will qualify for this position if you:

  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of operator experience, with the same employer, documented in the work history section of the application

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
