Job Details:

Hides Deflesher Operator

The Hides Deflesher Operator is responsible for safely operating the deflesher machine to remove excess material from hides while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards. This role requires operating both sides of the machine, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring the continuous flow of product through the process.

Essential Functions

  • Operate both sides of the deflesher machine in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Feed hides into the machine and remove processed hides.

  • Place processed hides onto a moving conveyor for further handling.

  • Monitor equipment operation and report mechanical issues to supervision.

  • Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to lift, pull, push, and handle materials weighing up to 80 pounds.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

  • Ability to work around moving machinery and follow all safety requirements.

  • Strong teamwork, attendance, and communication skills.

Requirements

MUST HAVE 1 MONTH EXPERIENCE OPERATING MACHINERY IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS
