  • Tuesday and Thursday: 8:30am-4:30pm

Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for executing and supervising scheduled resident activities. The Life Enrichment Assistant functions as the contact person for the department in the absence of the Director of Life Enrichment and also provides clerical support to the department.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities

  • Assist the department with administrative tasks, including copying, faxing, typing memoranda (monthly calendars), and answering phones on a daily basis.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing all activity programs at the community.
  • Complete all necessary forms required by the department.
  • Serve as a champion for the department and encourage residents to participate in daily activities.
  • Assists with transportation of residents to and from the activity.
  • Feeds and cleans pets used for pet therapy on a daily basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.

Position Requirements

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Licenses/Certifications: N/A

Experience: 1+ years of programming or event planning preferred

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to generate enthusiasm and interest in programs and activities

Travel: Limited travel may be required to facilitate off-site activities
