Job description

We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Secretary in our Port Washington, Wisconsin location. This position is represented by L2150.

Job Responsibilities

The Secretary performs the following duties:

  • Provides administrative and clerical support for the business units
  • Acts as a general information resource person
  • Review manager's E-Mail, prioritize, and respond when appropriate
  • Maintain manager's and director's schedules 
  • Schedule and arrange travel arrangements for work group
  • Create and maintain files (i.e., safety training materials and manuals)
  • Create and run reports (i.e., monthly lump sum reporting, RSST/SSCM overtime reporting, NMUC update report)
  • Review and process invoices (Procard, end expense reports)
  • General filing and distribution with Corporate Information Management 
  • Maintain and schedule meetings and conference rooms, arrange for catering and provide set-up assistance
  • Order and maintain supplies (i.e., drafting and EDAM) 
  • Management and distribution of substation access
  • Tracking overtime records using ARCOS and iScheduler or similar software
Testing requirements

Basic Clerical Aptitude test (BCAB): Ability to classify information according to preset rules; spelling and grammar; basic mathematics; filing and sorting information. Suggested Preparation: Review of basic arithmetic skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages; review rules of grammar, spelling, punctuation; and alphabetizing or putting items in order. Test: Basic Data Entry (BDE): Entering data from paper copy onto fixed-formatted screens. Suggested Preparation: Practice entering data onto forms.

Minimum Posting Range:  $20.90 

Maximum Posting Range:  $34.83
