Job description

Position Summary: Produces machined parts for production equipment from a variety of metals to specification by operating machining equipment.
Job Description:
• Produces parts to specification by setting and operating machinery
• Maintains quality of manufactured parts by inspecting parts in process
• Supports required production schedules by maintaining efficient production cycles
• Maintains operational status of machines by monitoring condition of machine and reporting any needed repairs
• Maintains safe and organized work area by observing all safety policies and procedures
Required Test:
• None
Preferred Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent or equal combination of education and experience
• Three (3) years machine operating experience
Physical Strain:
• Lifting up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds
• Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights
• Must be able to work under pressure
