Base pay $16.00 per/hr. + $1.00 shift pay & eligible to earn perfect attendance $2.00 per/hr.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our team as a Formax Operator and play a vital role in our production operations. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for safely handling, selecting, storing, and loading materials and products. You'll work in a fast-paced environment and be a key contributor to our operational success by meeting productivity standards, following safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Receive, inspect, and load outgoing/incoming products and materials
  • Accurately read labels and related documents in English
  • Use basic math to count, measure, and calculate quantities
  • Lift, carry, and stack products (up to 75 lbs. and up to 7 feet high)
  • Build pallets using push/pull motions, up to 8 feet high
  • Operate electric forklifts and stand-up rider pallet jacks
  • Maintain performance metrics in line with productivity and accuracy standards
  • Clean and maintain work areas using tools such as brooms, mops, or electric sweepers
  • Work flexible shifts as part of a 24-hour operation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year Machine Operator experience
  • Must obtain forklift certification within 30 days of employment
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred (food-grade or fast-paced operations a plus)
  • Comfortable working in temperature-controlled areas (chill at 35°F, freezer at -5°F)

Skills and Abilities:
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Physically capable of repetitive lifting, stacking, and operating equipment in a dynamic setting

Performance Expectations:
  • Meet 95% productivity standard within 120 days, as measured by engineered work standards
  • Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and a positive team-oriented attitude
  • Maintain high-quality work and cleanliness in assigned areas
