About the Team

The Roku TV & Licensing team is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager with a deep understanding and experience in the TV industry to work closely with our Roku TV partners (factories, brand licensees, OEM/ODM) and Roku's cross-functional teams to analyze and make recommendations for engagement with new partners to integrate Roku's Operating System. This person will support the Roku TV teams by helping to manage new and ongoing programs at these partners. 

About the Role 

We are looking for a motivated individual to utilize your experience & skillset to understand and present the Roku OS and reference designs to key partners to drive adoption. Your partner management experience will help you identify and communicate program and business requirements to partners and field product features requests back into Roku. In this role you will be required to review and contribute to global business planning and product requirement documents which align & support Roku initiatives and our partners' goals, objectives and timelines.

What you'll be doing 
  • Manage business relationships with partners that are located throughout the Americas including Central America and Brazil
  • Facilitate discussions between Roku's teams and current and potential new partners & factories
  • Work with partners to establish short term programs and long-term relationships to embed Roku's OS in their products
  • Collect, analyze and present the partner's requirements to Roku's cross functional teams and work to create legal agreements
  • Coordinate with Roku's cross functional teams on new partnership engagements
  • Support program kick-off meetings and development efforts with partners & factories
  • Work with factories to ensure programs are running as planned
  • Work with partners on timely reporting and tracking of products with the Roku OS embedded
  • Organize and lead quarterly business and technical reviews
  • Advocate product issues on behalf of the partners within Roku and influence internal teams to resolve the issues in a timely manner
  • Conduct market & product research to determine industry requirements & opportunities
  • Research, analyze and report current market conditions for strategic consideration
  • Provide industry analysis. Identify competitive threats and create actionable reporting
We're excited if you have 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline required 
  • Business development &/or partner management background with clear understanding of Consumer Electronics (CE) products and industry experience focused on TV, Audio, streaming devices
  • Understand Operating Systems, SW architecture and HW reference designs
  • Excellent knowledge of TV and Audio industry and supporting technologies
  • Outstanding partner management skills, leveraging your strong business acumen and technical background
  • Experience working with ODM/OEMs and using data analytics & reporting to drive business decisions
  • 10+ years working with CE partners, focused on Latin American markets
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in English required 
  • Fluency in Spanish & Portuguese preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
