As a 20 An Hour Security guard, you may work in a variety of settings, including office buildings, retail stores, residential complexes, or event venues. Shifts may vary and can include nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the employer’s needs. You should expect to spend much of your shift on patrol, monitoring cameras or access points, and reporting or responding to any unusual activity. Teamwork is often important when coordinating with other guards or local law enforcement, but you may also have periods of working independently. This role can be both physically active and requires vigilance to ensure a safe and secure environment.
