Summary of Position
Lionsgate is currently searching for an Assistant to support the Chair of Lionsgate Television Group. This role will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative duties. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, as well as with others. They must be diplomatic, flexible, exceedingly well organized, and enjoy the challenges of supporting a busy executive.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Chair, including but not limited to preparing email correspondence on behalf of the executive and drafting and distributing memos
  • Serve as a professional and courteous liaison both between internal teams and with other studios, networks, and the offices of producers, agents, talent, and other executives
  • Maintain all aspects of the Executive's busy schedule, including calendar management, scheduling, and rolling a high volume of calls
  • Handle all aspects of the Executive's travel, making travel arrangements and submitting expense reports on a regular and timely basis
  • Distribute script materials and internal project trackers
  • Provide detailed coverage of incoming script and project submissions as needed
  • Exercise discretion with sensitive or confidential information
  • Handle other projects and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Skills
  • 1 year of assistant experience at a talent agency, management or production company, network or studio, as well as a strong background in TV development, lit, programming, or production is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience preferred
  • Must possess exceptional communication, organizational, and administrative skills, including strong abilities to multi-task and efficiently prioritize and execute time-sensitive tasks
  • Should have a strong interest in TV Development or TV Production, a passion for entertainment, and the desire for a career in TV
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and familiarity with both Apple and PC devices
  • Must be available to work 5 days per week (Monday-Friday) in-office in Santa Monica
