Job Summary/Description:
KCBD NewsChannel 11 is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our sales management and sales executives, helping to drive business growth and maintain strong customer relationships. This opportunity is a great way to become part of a highly respected media organization and station.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who works well under pressure, highly focused, organized, and detail-oriented, has good time management skills, and one who likes to solve problems with a positive attitude.
* Excellent telephone, email, and verbal communication and problem-solving skills are required.
* You must show enthusiasm, work initiative, accuracy, and the ability to interact with clients professionally.
* Database and industry software experience is desired but not required.
* Take pride in work, respond to instructions well, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working independently when necessary.
* Assist the Director of Sales and Multimedia Sales Managers in order entry and maintenance of orders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Teams).
* Assist as needed in project planning and preparation, development of sales proposals, and marketing material.
* Pull and provide detailed reports for management.
* Capable of learning new software systems promptly and thoroughly.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Media experience preferred but not required, willing to train the right individual.
* High School graduate, have proficient knowledge of how to operate a Computer, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
* Ability to work independently, be highly organized, and attentive to details in a fast-paced work environment.
