Job description

At Amazon Advertising, we're transforming how brands connect with customers through the devices they use every day. With over 300 million Fire TV devices sold worldwide and millions of Alexa-enabled devices in homes globally, we sit at the forefront of device-based advertising innovation. We believe that advertising, when seamlessly integrated into the customer experience, can enhance discovery, drive engagement, and deliver measurable results for our advertising partners.

The Sales GTM (SGTM) organization for Devices bridges the critical gap between our product teams building next-generation advertising solutions and the global sales teams bringing these innovations to market. Given our unique position within the Sales organization, SGTM is called upon to drive GTM strategy that unlocks the full potential of our device-based advertising ecosystem-from Fire TV streaming ads to Alexa agentic conversational experiences. We're seeking a WW GTM Leader to join our Sales GTM organization focused on Amazon Devices advertising, with Fire TV and Alexa at the center.

The ideal candidate will be an industry veteran with deep expertise in streaming TV advertising, device-based ad solutions, and voice-enabled advertising experiences. You'll be responsible for bringing complex, innovative advertising products to market across our device ecosystem, serving as the voice of both our customers and global sales teams as they navigate the evolving landscape of connected TV, streaming entertainment, and ambient computing advertising.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & GTM Execution
Drive the global Amazon Devices advertising sales strategy by serving as the primary liaison between product organizations and worldwide sales teams
Develop and implement comprehensive GTM strategies for Fire TV advertising solutions that address varied customer requirements across regions and verticals
Establish strategic positioning that differentiates device-based advertising from traditional ad tech solutions, emphasizing unique value propositions like first-party data, closed-loop measurement, and contextual relevance
Sales Enablement & Customer Advocacy
Partner with cross-functional SGTM teams to create and maintain sales enablement frameworks that help global teams articulate our device advertising capabilities
Develop compelling sales narratives that demonstrate how Fire TV and Alexa advertising drives measurable business outcomes across awareness, consideration, and conversion
Gather and synthesize voice of customer (VOC) feedback from global sales teams, identifying product gaps, competitive threats, and market opportunities specific to device-based advertising
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Intelligence
Collaborate with Product teams to ensure Devices advertising GTM strategies align with holistic Amazon Ads portfolio positioning and customer needs
Partner with Product Marketing to develop differentiated messaging around Fire TV's streaming TV capabilities and Alexa's voice-enabled advertising innovations
Analyze, contextualize, and communicate industry developments in streaming TV, connected TV advertising, voice commerce, and device-based measurement to sales teams and customers
Establish partnerships with internal and external senior business leaders to drive strategic initiatives and unlock new revenue opportunities
Business Performance & Operational Excellence
Identify and track the right metrics to measure GTM success-including product adoption, sales velocity, customer satisfaction, and revenue impact-providing meaningful insights through monthly organizational business reviews
Develop and execute weekly and monthly action plans that increase adoption of Fire TV and Alexa advertising solutions across priority customer segments and geographies
Effectively communicate business strategy, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to all levels of the organization, up to and including SVPs
Drive continuous improvement in GTM processes, sales tools, and enablement materials based on data-driven insights and sales team feedback.
