Job description

Mathnasium of El Segundo is now hiring Math Instructors/Tutors! Are you great at math and love teaching kids? Then, we are looking for you! As a math instructor, you will work with children from Kinder - 12th grade in a fun group setting at our center. We offer part-time jobs with flexible scheduling and opportunities to earn bonuses based on performance indicators.
Required Qualifications:
* Great math skills through Algebra I
* Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
* Energetic and confident personality
* Must pass a Math employment test that covers elementary to Algebra 1 skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* The ideal candidate should have experience as a math tutor, mathematics tutor, experience in tutoring middle/high school students, or have a background as a math teacher
* Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses
* Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students (a plus but not necessary)Hours will vary, but generally are afternoon and evenings Monday - Friday from 3-7pm. Tutoring occurs in our safe commercial center. No in-home tutoring. Pay is competitive + bonuses and based on education and experience. This is a part-time position with advancement opportunities.
