Job description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Tutors will provide 1 hour (60 minutes) of in-home tutoring per student per week
  • Tutors are required to fill out a session form online after each tutoring session
  • Tutors must keep in touch with their supervisor and the students’ parents on a regular basis
  • Tutors must be reliable and punctual
  • Tutors must follow the Company’s Dress Code
  • Tutors must follow the Code of Ethics
  • Tutors must attend at least 6 hours of professional development per year

Minimum Qualifications:

  • NYS Teaching Certification
  • At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience (student teaching accepted)
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the students' homes
  • Interview and References

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour for elementary school, $60.00 - $75.00 per hour for secondary school

Therefore, we have hands-on experience in the classroom so that we are able to support the students and tutors. We believe that with the proper support every student can succeed. When hiring, we only hire tutors that show a love of teaching and tutoring, expertise in their content area, and a desire to continue learning and improving their own skills. Our tutors are tutoring because they enjoy working with the students and want to help them.
