Job description

Turf Distributors/Artificial Grass Recyclers is looking for a Yard manager that will serve as the onsite facilitator. It is the duty of the yard manager to oversee day to day operations on location and report to the Regional site manager of the company, as necessary. This position is responsible for the yards inventory, equipment, sales, and employees.
Position Requirements:
Must be punctual and have reliable transportation. Minimum of high school education and 2-5 years of Sales/customer service experience. Knowledge of Landscaping/ Artificial Grass is a plus. Must be proficient in use of telehandler forklift, and basic hand tools.
Duties:
  • Loading/unloading of customers vehicles with forklift
  • Handle money and sales paperwork
  • Always maintain yard in an orderly state
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date inventory of yard
  • Liaison with Logistics and repair companies
  • Maintain equipment on a daily and weekly schedule
  • Assist with sales associates' customers
  • Support the operations department with pictures/descriptions
  • Order supplies as needed for office/yard/equipment
  • Promote and implement safety measures with all tasks
  • Open and close yard to include setting alarm and securing gate
  • Sales and advertising of artificial grass
  • All other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of yard management
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Experience in building relationships and customer service
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Self-motivation and results driven
  • Ability to lift 75lbs or more

Compensation: $22.00 hour
