Job description

Our commitment to superior customer support has fueled steady growth, reinvestment and rewarding careers across four generations. Koenig Equipment is currently seeking an inside Ag amp; Turf Equipment Sales role based out of the Dealership's Knightstown, IN location.

Purpose:
Sell new and used turf equipment, used agricultural equipment, and value-added services to new and existing Customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Sell equipment solutions to residential, commercial, and agricultural Customers.
  • Maintain current knowledge of features and benefits of all relevant equipment categories.
  • Maintain current and working knowledge of retail financing
  • Maintain accurate Customer and equipment information in dealership systems.
  • Merchandise equipment showroom and lot to company standards.
  • Thoroughly evaluate all machines offered in trade. Assume personal and primary responsibility for the profitable resale of those machines.
  • Execute an effective sales process (ask task-oriented questions, validate Customer requirements, propose solutions, overcome objections, and move to close)
  • Follow all dealership processes. Suggest improvement ideas.
  • Support other departments and teammates (ex., assist with Customer events)
  • Actively participate in applicable sales training events/seminars
Qualifications:
  • Excellent Customer relationship skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Retail sales experience preferred
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment preferred
