Job Summary

The Tunnel Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently loading vehicles into the wash tunnel while maintaining operational flow and safety standards. This position plays a critical role in throughput, equipment protection, and overall site performance.

Success in this role is measured by safe vehicle loading, consistent traffic flow, and adherence to operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely guide vehicles onto the conveyor system and ensure proper alignment

• Provide clear loading instructions to customers prior to tunnel entry

• Conduct visual safety checks including confirming windows are closed and vehicles are secure for wash

• Monitor tunnel entry area for hazards and maintain a safe work environment

• Operate loading controls and related tunnel systems as required

• Maintain consistent vehicle spacing to support optimal throughput

• Communicate operational or safety concerns to management immediately

• Keep tunnel entrance and surrounding areas clean and organized

• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures

• Support overall site operations as needed
