POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Tumbling Instructor at Cassville YMCA maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals. This position passionately promotes and markets all tumbling programs with a sense of urgency and attention to member service. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Tumbling Instructor ensures successful operation of the YMCA Tumbling programming through effective staff supervision, program development, facility/equipment management and financial results. This role will provide successful execution of a progressive recreational-based tumbling program. The incumbent must demonstrate our four core values: Caring, Respect, Honesty, and Responsibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Uphold the mission of the YMCA, and demonstrate behaviors that reflect a determined, nurturing, genuine, hopeful, and welcoming nature.
2. Serves as a role model and advocate of the YMCA Mission, Promise, Values and Voice. Our four Core Values: Caring, Kindness, Respect and Responsibility
3. This position will oversee the vision and operation of Tumbling programs in their region including the marketing and responsibility for all for budget.
4. Work with the Executive Director on preparing and managing the budget for all programs within oversight, including salary and supply costs to create the most efficient programs possible.
5. Recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and developing cause driven leaders that lead and develop participants.
6. Recruit, train, and communicate the mission & values of the YMCA to all program volunteers.
7. Actively seek out and engage in community organization collaborations.
8. Develop a creative and innovative marketing/promotional plan for all programs that meets all brand standards.
9. Evaluates and assesses program outcomes to ensure that programs are effective and meet participation goals.
11. Ensures that facilities and equipment are inspected, safe and functional, while meeting the needs of members and community.
12. Ensures cleanliness, organization, and safety of the gymnastics area of the facility.
13. Has the ability to instruct programs or coach when necessary.
14. Ensures all staff have current YMCA and/or professional certifications that are required or needed to ensure safety and proper instruction.
15. Ensures programs meet YMCA guidelines and/or USAG guidelines when appropriate.
16. Ensure all members and participants understand the YMCA's charitable history by passionately participating in the Annual Campaign.
17. All other duties as requested.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 2. 1+ years coaching/leading tumbling.
3. Knowledge of correct spotting techniques.
4. Excellent communication skills and basic conflict resolution skills.
5. Mature, responsible, calm individuals with good communication skills.
6. Must be able to interact with kids and adults in a positive manner, enthusiastic, and flexible.
7. Must be able to align with and demonstrate the YMCA four core values on a consistent basis.
8. CPR Pro & First Aid Certification required within the first 30 days (training can be provided)
9. Possess the ability to work with varying ages and to manage small to large groups.

Membership Sales and Engagement Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direction of the Executive Director and the branch Membership Director, the Membership Sales and Engagement Coordinator is charged with membership sales and member engagement/retention. With the "Member Experience" as the foundation of this role, the position is responsible for the planning and coordination of all member recruitment and sales efforts for the branch. The Membership Sales and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for meeting/exceeding branch annual budgeted targets and goals for new member acquisition and overall unit growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Cooperates with the Executive Director and Membership Director in outlining membership acquisition efforts, defining members' needs, measuring membership satisfaction, and assuring staff effectiveness.
? Defines sales process that incorporates unity of healthy living and member onboarding.
? Personally sells memberships and drives traffic. Makes outbound calls per day to prospective members to drive lead generation, appointments and KPIs. Responsible for setting outbound prospecting call targets for the branch team.
? Facilitates regular scheduled sales training for branch membership staff teams to help drive new membership, program participation, and engagement around strategic initiatives.
? Monitors and takes action on Quality Improvement opportunities such as new member survey results, in-person tour evaluations, and in-bound call evaluations
? Assists Membership Director with training, coaching, and holding the team accountable for lead management and KPIs.
? Collaborates with Membership Director to implement best practice utilization of resources ensuring coverage meets the traffic pattern needs of the branch to drive conversion and new unit sales.
? Creates a member-focused culture and models relationship-building skills in all interactions.
? Stays informed of the latest industry trends and developments (digital and social media, trade magazines, journals, competition).
? Identifies community opportunities for brand awareness, exposure and prospecting.
? Ensures that the prospective member experience is based on hospitality, by establishing systems and monitoring adherence to membership policies, procedures, standards and best practices.
? Upholds all Association policies, guidelines and protocols and be a professional at all times when interacting with staff, volunteers, members, business professionals and community leaders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Three or more years related experience is preferred; sales experience highly preferred.
? Must possess a mix of relationship-building skills with technical knowledge.
? Strong writing and verbal communication skills along with conceptual planning are required.
? Must be a self-directed, innovative and creative person.
