Job Summary
The Logistics Liaison Officer (LNO) serves as the primary coordination point between contractor logistics operations and the 8th Theater Sustainment Command (8th TSC) in support of ILS2 Task Order execution. This role facilitates communication, aligns sustainment requirements, resolves operational challenges, and provides visibility into logistics support activities to ensure effective integration with theater-level sustainment operations.
The LNO acts as a trusted interface between contractor personnel and 8th TSC stakeholders, supporting the synchronization of logistics priorities, resources, and operational requirements across organizations. This position focuses on external coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement and does not perform logistics execution, supply chain planning, or program-level oversight functions.
This position is contingent upon award of the contract.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary logistics liaison between contractor operations and the 8th Theater Sustainment Command (8th TSC).
  • Coordinate sustainment requirements, logistics priorities, and communications across supported organizations and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the resolution of operational issues impacting logistics support and theater sustainment activities.
  • Provide visibility into contractor logistics operations, resource requirements, and support priorities.
  • Support the integration and synchronization of contractor logistics activities with theater-level sustainment operations.
  • Prepare reports, status updates, meeting materials, and coordination documentation.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with military, government, and contractor personnel.

Basic Qualifications
  • Typically requires a college or University Degree in Business related disciplines that focus on Supply Chain, Purchasing and/or Logistics or the related combination of education and experience that provides knowledge and exposure to the fundamental theories, principles and concepts within the specified discipline. In some disciplines, advanced degree may be a requirement to reach this level. Typically requires 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting logistics operations within military, government, or contractor environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of logistics support processes, operational coordination, and mission support activities.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and operate effectively in high-visibility, mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Army, Theater Sustainment Command, Joint, or Combatant Command operations.
  • Previous experience serving as a Liaison Officer (LNO) or in a military coordination role.
  • Familiarity with theater sustainment operations, logistics support, and Army operational planning.
  • Experience supporting high-visibility or mission-critical defense programs.
  • Knowledge of DoD logistics processes, sustainment operations, and military planning frameworks.
  • Prior military service or military logistics experience

The expected salary range for this position in Hawaii is $110,000 - $164,900 (update as required). Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, work location, and other job-related factors. This range is provided in accordance with Hawaii pay transparency requirements and applies to candidates working in Hawaii.
