Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for participating in the development of creative strategy and the ownership and execution of simplified and easily digested copy that moves people to action. The role will lead projects and perform tactical work. The role is part of the larger creative team that is accountable for creative strategy development, creative development, and creative operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads creative development of marketing and communications strategies that align with brand and audience goals.
  • Champions the brand's voice and tone across all channels, updating and refining guidelines as the market evolves.
  • Develops copy concepts, based upon strategic inputs, that meet defined objectives.
  • Uses rationale to present creative concepts and can defend work based upon strategy inputs.
  • Has an in-depth understanding of B2B2C audience and brand drivers and develops content that drives business results.
  • Uses storytelling to distill complex ideas into clear, memorable content that resonates with both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Leverages an in-depth understanding of product benefits to develop effective copy that drives action.
  • Crafts compelling, audience-centric copy for websites, email campaigns, direct mail, ads, social media, product materials, presentations, event collateral and more.
  • Ensures alignment with brand, product, production and compliance standards.
  • Mentors and trains copywriters on voice, tone and brand standards.
  • Completes and leverages departmental direct response best practices training.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in a direct response consumer marketing business or agency environment.
  • Strong knowledge of creative process in the delivery of marketing materials and programs.
  • Superior copywriting skills.
  • Strong command of grammar and punctuation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

Base Salary Range:

$93,100.00 - $139,700.00
