Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for supporting their assigned business unit's Sales VP regarding key business initiatives, along with management of overall business operations. In addition, the position provides high-level executive support to their assigned business unit and works with the sales leadership team of the business unit with planning, developing, and execution of key business initiatives. This role leads special cross-functional projects, some of which are extensive and significant.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support overall business operations of the assigned unit/segment.
  • Lead special cross-functional projects and assignments as directed; some of these are far-reaching and significant in terms of resources and impact.
  • Engage the sales management team of their assigned unit regarding key business initiatives; makes appropriate recommendations and takes necessary steps in order to achieve successful business results.
  • Provide high-level executive business support to the Sales VP of their unit in areas such as communication, business reporting, sales planning, budget development and expense management, development and execution of meetings and events, and assistance with other business needs as deemed necessary.
  • Continually review, develop and implement process improvements to effectively and efficiently meet the support needs of the business unit; ensures current and future sales support needs are being met.
  • Ensure and provide validation of effective utilization of internal processes, programs and systems in support of the overall unit's business needs; oversees the unit's reporting process.
  • Perform aggregation of budget and expense performance against plan.
  • Develop close working relationships with other members of the sales management team in successful attainment of business goals and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of existing and emerging corporate information technologies and systems to assess their impact on the business needs of the unit.

Job Requirements:

List of general education, background and experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities typically required to effectively perform the responsibilities of the job. Also include any required licenses and/or designations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance or related field or an equivalent trade-off of related professional work experience.
  • 7 or more years of sales management/supervisory experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Experience developing, leading and managing across multiple business areas such as sales operations, sales processes, business planning, and management/business reporting.
  • Possesses and maintains in-depth business knowledge of TruStage products and services Proven success and experience in collaborating and influencing multiple functions and groups to achieve desired sales/financial goals.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate through demonstrated written and verbal skills; ability to communicate on behalf of senior management.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion; strong projectmanagement experience required.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, strong business acumen required. Strong time-management, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite, spreadsheets, graphic software, and Internet/Intranet applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience at a Life/Annuity carrier.

  • Knowledge of DTCC, iPipeline (Affirm), AnnuityNet (AN4/ANW), Firelight.

  • Strong understanding of RILA, Fixed Indexed, Fixed, and Variable Annuity products.

  • Knowledge of local/state/NAIC licensing requirements

  • Salesforce/CRM knowledge

  • Ability to travel 10%-20%.

  • Existing Relationshipswith largeIBD and Bank B/D's is a plus.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

Base Salary Range:

$93,100.00 - $139,700.00
