Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, optimizing merchandising and modeling an outstanding customer service experience. Managers should positively represent Zettler Hardware consistent with our company values. We are family owned and operating in Central Ohio since 1844.
Responsibilities:
  • Model excellent customer service.
  • Oversee daily opening and closing of the store.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, performance and disciplinary reviews, and planning weekly schedules.
  • Foster a team environment and motivate employees to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain inventory at appropriate levels and direct cycle counts.
  • Coordinate sales promotions, marketing, merchandising and special events.
  • Participate in the weekly ordering of merchandise and oversees deliveries and restocking.
  • Be a role model for safety ensuring compliance with all store policies and safety standards.

Qualifications:
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a professional attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Committed to continually learning and pursuing training and development opportunities.
  • Ability to supervise other employees and understand the fundamentals of leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of the products contained in the store.
  • Motivated, organized, self-starter who is able to think independently and solve problems.
  • Understanding of store operations, inventory control, and pricing strategy.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
