Maintenance Technicians


Trimark Properties is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians! We are a great company, seeking great team members to join our talented and experienced Maintenance team. We are ready to hire!


Trimark is a Gainesville-based real estate developer and property management firm founded in 1992. We believe in “Location, Location, Location." Our communities are steps from UF, Gainesville’s Midtown and Innovation District, and UF Health (Shands) facilities.


Summary/Objective:

If you are an experienced Maintenance Technician who is ready for a change, we want to hear from you!

Technicians will respond to maintenance calls, including troubleshooting basic electrical, plumbing, and construction issues, and will prepare unoccupied apartment homes for new tenants.


All maintenance positions require a customer service focus. Team members must possess a Florida driver's license and have a responsible driving record. The work schedule is M-F 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, with rotating on-call responsibilities, nights, and weekends.

Essential Functions:

  • Experience with carpentry, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance required.
  • Previous construction or apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation daily to work at multiple properties during the workday.
  • Report to work on time, based on the department’s schedule for employees.
  • Maintain inventory control of maintenance supplies, departmental tools, and equipment.
  • Assist in tracking work orders for repairs.
  • Perform facility maintenance and repairs such as plumbing repairs, HVAC repairs and maintenance, exterior repairs, lighting, minor electrical, floor, and blind repairs.
  • Other facility maintenance items as needed.
  • Work independently and with team members, with availability for on-call to resolve problems outside traditional work hours.
  • Ensure all safety standards are followed.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in property maintenance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required
  • Certified in HVAC or minimum working knowledge of Heating and AC is a Plus!
  • Applicants must have personal maintenance tools to use along with Trimark's specialty tool inventory.
  • Candidates must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, climb, reach, utilize ladders and stairs.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, if required.

Applicants must complete Trimark's background process, which includes a pre-employment drug test and background check.
