Job description

Trifecta Proven is recruiting for a Physical Therapist to provide services at the Portland Air National Guard Base, OR. Physical Therapist will work as part of the Human Performance Optimization Program with the 125th Special Tactics Squadron. The physical therapist will work as part of a team aiming to prepare service members physically and mentally so they are optimized for mission readiness and sustained peak performance, while minimizing injury and maximizing return-to-duty efficiency.

Hours: Monday thorugh Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. including a one hour lunch break.

Duties: 

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance human performance.

  • Develop personalized rehabilitation programs using exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, strength and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-management.

  • Maintain a safe, infection-controlled treatment environment and document all interventions. 

Minimum Qualifications:

* Education:  Master’s level Degree or Doctoral Degree in physical therapy. 5 years of experience with manual therapy in a sports medicine field. Full licensure in the U.S.

* Internship/Residency: Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.

* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience with manual therapy in sports medicine.

* License: Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist from any state.

*Certification: Certification through ABPTS with an orthopedic specialty or Sports Specialty certification. 

* Life Support Certification: Possess a current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

* Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.

Note: Offered salary will be dependent on experience, credentials and overall interview evaluation.
