Job description

About Trident Trailer Trident Trailer is a premier source for aluminum end dump trailers, serving commercial fleet operators across the United States. We specialize in lightweight, high-performance aluminum end dumps built for the construction, excavation, aggregate, and bulk hauling industries. Our trailers are trusted by fleet managers who demand durability, payload efficiency, and long-term value.

The Role We're looking for an experienced, self-directed professional to join the Trident Trailer team in a part-time capacity. You'll work both sides of the trailer market — selling new aluminum end dumps to fleet operators and sourcing used trailers from those same fleets for resale. This dual buy/sell role is ideal for someone who likes a fast-paced environment where they can build long-term relationships.

Time Commitment This is a part-time position that requires a long-term commitment of at least 10–15 hours per week. Hours are flexible, but consistent availability and follow-through are essential.

Responsibilities

Sales

  • Conduct outbound calls to fleet managers, operations directors, and equipment procurement contacts at construction, excavation, aggregate, and bulk hauling companies
  • Present Trident Trailer's aluminum end dump products, including specifications, pricing, lead times, and availability
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective buyers through regular outreach, follow-up, and relationship building
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes and proposals in a timely manner

Acquisitions

  • Identify fleet managers looking to sell or trade used trailers and initiate purchasing conversations
  • Evaluate used trailer opportunities based on age, condition, spec, and market value
  • Negotiate purchase prices on used equipment on behalf of Trident Trailer
  • Coordinate logistics and documentation for acquired trailers with the Trident operations team

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of inside or telephonic sales or account management experience in trailers, commercial trucks, heavy equipment, or a related industry
  • Experience working with proposals, purchase orders and contracts for large purchases
  • Strong negotiation skills and comfort working both sides of a deal
  • Highly self-motivated and organized — able to manage a pipeline independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with CRM tools
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional environment for phone calls
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred

Work Details

  • Location: On Site- Dallas, Texas
  • Hours: Part-time, 10–15 hours per week
  • Schedule: Flexible, with the expectation of consistent weekly availability during normal business hours to reach fleet contacts
