Who we are at BluePearl Sarasota, FL

  • Our emergency service has highly qualified, dedicated technicians, including two veterinary technician specialists (VTS) in Emergency and Critical Care.

  • Our board-certified and residency-trained clinicians specialize in, emergency & critical care, internal medicine, ophthalmology, surgery, radiology, and cardiology.

  • On-site diagnostic capabilities include a CT scanner, flexible and rigid endoscopes, ventilator, ultrasound, high flow oxygen unit and oxygen cages, ophthalmic microscope, digital radiography, Force Triad LigaSure, and a chemotherapy hood.

  • Our own blood bank with centrifuge and plasma freezer, and we allow for public donors. Due to BluePearl’s high standard and medical excellence, BluePearl’s blood bank process has been accepted as the standard procedure to be followed by all blood banks. What you need to excel at BluePearl

  • DVM/VMD degree required

  • Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.

  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.

  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
