About the Role
Tri Tech Automation is hiring a Team Lead for our fabrication center in Tulsa, OK. This role leads a team of Panel Fabricators building industrial control panels, owning quality, on-time delivery, and team development for all active projects. You'll split your time between hands-on panel work, QA/QC, and leading the floor — scheduling, coaching, and keeping projects on budget and on schedule.
What You'll Do
• Lead, manage, and hold accountable a team of Panel Fabricators — providing guidance, training, and support to meet quality and project deadlines
• Prioritize and schedule resources based on project requirements, team capabilities, and deadlines
• Ensure finished product meets Tri Tech Automation's quality standards; perform energized QA/QC panel checks and mentor others in QA/QC procedures
• Manage the shop's UL panel shop certification and maintain your own UL508A MTR certification
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policy
• Champion Lean and continuous improvement — model the tools, promote the concepts, and lead initiatives to reduce waste, rework, and cycle time
• Coach and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations
• Attend scheduling and project kickoff meetings; execute the weekly production schedule
• Provide first-level (L1) production support, resolving floor issues and escalating when needed
• Track active projects against deadlines; manage inventory, receiving/shipping, and VMI/consumables
• Lead Toolbox meetings and participate in customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
• Key metrics you'll own: team Quality, On-Time Delivery, and Performance to Budget across all active projects
What You Bring — Required
• 5+ years of hands-on control panel fabrication experience
• Demonstrated proficiency at a Panel Fabricator III level (highest level of Tri Tech Automation Panel Fabricator) or equivalent
• Some lead/supervisory experience, OR strong initiative and readiness to step into a lead role
• Working knowledge of UL508A standards and panel shop QA/QC processes
• Ability to lead a team through complex projects with minimal guidance
What You Bring — Preferred
• PDC (Power Distribution Center) fabrication experience
• Prior UL508A MTR certification, or ability to obtain it
• Experience with Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement programs
• Familiarity with EOS/RPRS-style performance management frameworks
