Metal Fabricator: Richmond, Illinois
Our customer in Richmond, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re hiring Metal Fabricators for full-time 1st shift positions. As a Metal Fabricator, you will perform various manufacturing tasks, operate equipment, and contribute to efficient production processes.
Responsibilities of the Metal Fabricator:
  • Use various tools, equipment, and machines to fabricate metals as part of the manufacturing process prior to assembly.
  • Gather required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job on the work order
  • Properly position metal in machines, securing it prior to fabrication
  • Use punch press, drill press, and band saw for metal fabrication as well as other handheld and power tools as needed
  • Measure, cut, and fabricate metal according to specifications, blueprints, or directions
  • Maintain, organize, and clean equipment, parts, and work area as needed
Metal Fabricator Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in welding/fabricating required
  • Ability to use various hand tools
  • Basic design and blueprint reading
  • Capable of working under general supervision based on guidance and direction provided by team members
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of mathematics
Pay for Metal Fabricator: Starting at $20/hour.
