Position Overview
Gasser Chair is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable CNC Cutting Associate to support the production of high-quality seating products within our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for accurately cutting upholstery materials using automated cutting equipment to ensure precision, efficiency, and consistency in production.
The CNC Cutting Associate will report to the Sewing/Cutting Supervisor and work closely with production teams to ensure materials are cut correctly and ready to support downstream operations.
This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and takes pride in producing quality work that directly impacts the final product.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fabric Cutting: Operate an automated cutting table to cut upholstery fabrics according to production specifications and cut lists.
  • Material Setup: Load and position fabric rolls onto the cutting table, ensuring proper alignment and preparation prior to cutting.
  • Quality Control: Inspect fabrics for defects before cutting and verify accuracy of cuts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Production Accuracy: Follow cut lists and production schedules to ensure materials are prepared correctly and on time.
  • ERP Data Entry: Record cut quantities and material usage accurately within the ERP system to maintain production and inventory accuracy.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate and monitor cutting equipment, ensuring proper functionality during use.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance on cutting equipment and report any issues promptly.
  • Process Adherence: Follow standardized work instructions and production processes to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support workflow and production needs.
