Red Ball Oxygen Co., Inc. is a privately owned distributor of Industrial, Specialty, and Medical Gases, welding and industrial equipment, and safety supplies. We have 22 retail operations in Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas, with packaged gas production capabilities in Shreveport, LA, Geismar, LA, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and Houston, TX. We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, dynamic, Outside Sales Representative to join our team!

An outside sales representative at Red Ball Oxygen sells welding equipment, materials, and supplies to metal fabrication facilities and other industrial establishments, utilizing knowledge of tool-and-die making, welding techniques, and metalworking processes. Sells industrial, medical and specialty gases to diverse organizations, including, but not limited to fabrication facilities, restaurants, schools, hospitals, farms, etc. Advises customer on tools, hardware and materials needed and procedures to follow to complete tasks the customers wish to perform. Informs the customer about quality of tools, hardware, and equipment, and demonstrates use. Estimates quantities of gases and/or filler metals required to meet the customer's need. Sells abrasive products such as wheels, disks, and belts. Determines abrasive requirements for specific grinding, buffing, and polishing operations. Sells safety apparel and equipment, such as goggles, helmets, hearing protection devices, welding jackets, etc. Calls on prospective and existing customers to increase sales.
