Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$28.290 - $28.290 - $31.110


This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU.

This position was originally posted to ratified SEIU members from 08/03/26 - 08/11/26. The position is now available to be filled by internal candidates that are not members of the ratified Bargaining Unit or External candidates to Sharp Tri-City.


What You Will Do
Performs primary clerical and other duties as assigned under the direction of the RN on the nursing units.
Required Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous clerical experience required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 Year of healthcare and/or hospital unit secretary.


Other Qualification Requirements

  • Certificate from recognized Unit Secretary course desirable. - PREFERRED

  • The position characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job in a fully competent manner.     Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements.
    Facilitation of unit communication including telephone and answering patient call lights.
    Maintenance of unit supplies.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and charting abbreviations.
