Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for Eligible Candidates

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our Surgical Services Team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This is a full-time day shift position. Candidates must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and participate in the required call rotation.

As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in supporting surgeons and the operating room team by maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring safe, efficient surgical procedures.

As a Surgical Technologist, your responsibilities include:

  • Assemble, organize, and maintain a sterile field for operative procedures.

  • Anticipate the surgeon's needs throughout each procedure and prepare instruments and supplies accordingly.

  • Ensure proper handling and disposition of surgical specimens and instruments.

  • Collaborate with the surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety.

  • Participate in the required call rotation.

Experience Requirements:

  • Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • Associate's degree required or equivalent experience in lieu of education.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT preferred, but not required.
