Are you a dedicated emergency medicine physician seeking an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while advancing your career? TeamHealth needs someone like you! Located an hour north of Seattle in a family-friendly riverfront community in Washington's scenic Skagit Valley, Mt. Vernon offers that small-town charm with excellent schools and year-round outdoor recreation.
TeamHealth is seeking a full-time board eligible/board certified EM physician (ABEM or AOBEM) to join our team at Skagit Valley Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance, while practicing in a supportive, collegial environment.
Skagit Valley Hospital is a Level III community-focused hospital with 137 total beds, and 23 ED beds. We are averaging 48 hours of physician coverage daily that oversees an annual volume of 42,000 visits per year with a 15% admit rate. Our dedicated team sees medium to high acuity levels and an average of 2.4 patients per hour. During the night shifts our physicians only respond to "airways", but no additional floor codes and have a wide ranging specialty support team available. Skagit Valley uses EPIC EMR and AI EPIC Scribe.
